The eSense Pulse Biofeedback is a small sensor device for measuring heart rate variability (HRV). Heart rate is related to tension and relaxation, and is therefore a potential stress indicator. With the eSense Pulse Biofeedback, you can measure and effectively reduce your stress level through HRV biofeedback training.


The eSense Pulse Biofeedback provides the user with accurate feedback on the current stress level. The device is easy to use, an adjustable chest strap that performs 1-channel ECG measurement.

The app for eSense is completely free and allows you to export the collected measurement data in CSV or PDF format. This combination is suitable for evaluating home measurements, but also for scientific research and professional use as a biofeedback trainer - please read the short description of our course below. The Kubios HRV Premium software offers detailed HRV analysis with more than 40 analysis parameters and can be perfectly combined with the eSense Pulse device. As a home user, you do not need the Premium version, you can download the Kubios free version also! Brief description of HRV biofeedback course:

Heart rate variability (HRV) refers to the ability of the heart to change its frequency. Even at rest, there are spontaneous changes in the time between heartbeats. The heart rate of a healthy person is constantly adapting to the current environment. Physical exertion, such as sports or physical work, or psychological stress, such as stress, results in an increase in heart rate. The heart rate decreases when the load is relieved and the body relaxes. HRV ranges from 10 (low, a sign of stress) to 30 (high, a sign of relaxation). The better the body is able to regulate the heart rate (the higher the HRV), the healthier the person. With the help of HRV biofeedback, we train the heart muscles in a “playful” way, and thus help our health every day.

Measuring HRV is widespread in the fields of cardiology, occupational therapy, and sports, and is used for extensive research. In the HRV biofeedback course, we focus on HRV biofeedback training with different devices/products from different companies, both professional-medical and home devices. In order to determine the patient/client's baseline condition, training process, and progress, during the course we will also learn how to create HRV statistics and analysis. Regular measurement of HRV is extremely important for everyone (children, adults), especially for ADHD, depression, anxiety patients, but also for athletes.
